# Causing critical “session_write_close()” error

 * This issue is repeatedly being described in the forums, yet no proper response
   is being provided.
 * Is this issue being fixed? It is causing a critical health issue. This is not
   the paid version, just the basic one which I am trialing.
 * Full Message:
 * An active PHP session was detected Performance A PHP session was created by a
   session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests.
   The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP 
   requests.
 * If this issue is not addressed, it causes a 100% CPU load. OW!
    Is there a fix
   in development? When will it be released?
