Hi ksteele36,
It is so sadly that you have this issue with my plugin, however I can’t replicate it on several of my development hostings with various configuration and PHP versions.
Based on this, I guess that it can be server-based issue or some conflict with other plugin.
Unfortunately, I’m not able to fix this issue without additional technical information from your side. If you want to help with this issue, perhaps you’re able to turn on WordPress debug mode in the wp-config.php – and if you have some errors – pls send it me.
Also, it will be very helpful if you’re able to create copy of your site on your hosting, clean it from privacy information and give temporary access for me, so I’ll able to see this issue in real time.
Please let me know, if you are interested to help with debug of this issue here or directly via support@profosbox.com.
Thank you in advance,
Alexey.
Please update your plug-in and try to activate it again. If the problem persists, please provide more details about your issue as above.
Hi ksteele36,
Do you have any news about your issue?
ksteele36,
I am very saddened that found no help from you in this matter.
With best regards.
Alexey.
Sorry Alexey, I have been extremely busy. Thus, my fix was to uninstall this plugin and find another. After I uninstalled my site returned to normal behaviour…. as for tracking the issue down I simply do not have time. Maybe some time in the future if I get a break in projects.
best regards, “K”
Hello, I have exactly the same problem also throws me the error 500
Has a problem – a collision with the plugin wp-simple-firewall
shame otherwise nice plugin
Oh My God! Why am I? 🙂
Look at this:
1) I installed both plugins and really got 500 error
2) I switched on WordPress Debug Mode and saw the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Spyc in ../wp-content/plugins/agp-font-awesome-collection/vendor/mustangostang/spyc/Spyc.php on line 68
3) Both plugins use each his library “mustangostang/spyc” and both trying determinate class “Spyc”. This causes an error.
The solution for this issue has been described here:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-redeclare-class-spyc
So, it is unfortunate, that my plugin gets low marks for problems that do not refer to it.
With kind regards
Alexey
