Support » Plugin: Content Widget » Causes Inaccurate Admin Menu Listings

  • As someone new to WordPress (moving over from Drupal) I was really excited for this plugin. I needed to display the content of 1 RANDOM custom post type on each page of my website (ex. Inspirational quotes). It worked exactly as needed and then I discovered something when I was in the admin panel. With this plugin activated anytime I would go to my POSTS listing, PAGES listing or CUSTOM POST listing what would appear on my screen would the same thing… a list of the entries that make up my website’s main menu instead of the items that made of the category I was browsing. If I removed the plugin everything would go back to normal.. if I browsed PAGES I saw pages. If I browsed POSTS I saw posts, etc. I hope this makes sense.

Any chance of getting some type of fix for this widget? I think it’s a great widget and would love to use it on my website. Thanks!
