# Category.php

 * Hi Guys
 * I have built a site and included a ‘tips’ part. To see visit:
    [http://www.weddingcompanycornwall.co.uk/?p=116](http://www.weddingcompanycornwall.co.uk/?p=116)
 * The problem is when I click on a category it should access the category.php file
   or the index.php file. However, if in the categories menu you click on reception
   this access’ the category.php but if I click on planning category it breaks the
   theme and does not access the category.php.
 * Any ideas please?

 * Sorry – I guess I don’t see it.. when you look at the permalinks for each of 
   the possible links on the page – everything refers to a page_id – there aren’t
   any category links.

 * I clicked on “planner” up top, and got the list of subpages in the middle of 
   the site (where they appear to “supposed to be”) – the entire site, from what
   I can see, is built with pages – not with posts (which would necessitate the 
   use of `category.php` if you wanted them each to look different)
 * if you’re looking to create varying PAGE templates, that’s a different story,
   and they need to be created, and then selected when writing the page itself.

 * Hi Guys
 * Thanks for looking but I couldn’t get the posts to work – so in the end opted
   for the easy way out and created pages to post the tips idea.
