# Category widget

 * Apologies if this is the wrong place to post in. Point me (or move) the post 
   to the right section in that case.
 * Q: Is it possible to specify which categories a category widget should display?
   I have, say, 4 categories; cars, trains, boats, bicycles. I want to category 
   widget to display **only **the posts from the boats category. I can’t seem to
   do this in the standard widget?

 * I think this can be achieved with the help of Free WordPress Plugin.
 * Try either of the Plugin and see if that can help you to achieve what you are
   looking for.

    **Category Posts Widget** did exactly what I needed in this case.
   It’s possible that the list-category-posts thingy is more flexible but the author
   is a dev and can’t write documentation … =)

 * Premium version seems to include some kind of “exclude” feature as well, even
   better.
