# Category Visibility Plugin Issue

 * I downloaded the Category Visibility plugin from
 * [http://www.gudlyf.com/archives/2005/03/08/wordpress-plugin-category-visibility/](http://www.gudlyf.com/archives/2005/03/08/wordpress-plugin-category-visibility/)
 * I wanted this to obviously hide a category from the front page.
 * But on another page, I list the posts in the hidden category and then click on
   the link for one of the posts and it says “Error 404 – File not found”.
 * Unhide the category, then the posts for this category appear in the front page
   which I do not want.
 * Just wondering if there is any way around this?

 * Sorry in advance but I have stuck this quetion in the wrong bit of the forum 
   by mistake, should have been in the Plugins section.
