Support » Plugin: Chronosly Events Calendar » Category View Ignores Template

  • Resolved Treebeard

I copied the template files from wp-content/chronosly-events-calendar/templates/ to my custom theme, edited all of them so I could get the logo in there (logo was not showing for some reason) and all are working fine, except for the single category and all categories view. Both pages are not showing the extra div tags and the logo I added to all the template files.

How can I add the site logo and surrounding div tags to the Categories Pages?

  • I temporarily uploaded the single-category-chronosly.php and archive-category-chronosly.php files to the plugin itself in the /templates directory until this is fixed. All the other files are located within my theme and are working fine, it’s just these 2 that are broken.

I never had the ability to edit templates, all it shows is an Upload button on that page in the admin, and I have no idea what a Template consists of (a single file, a zip file, no idea) but I did try uploading one of the separate views (dad4/default.html) and it showed a 403 Forbidden message anyway.

Any idea when this will be fixed? I’m getting ready to launch and I don’t want the plugin to be compromised because it can’t be updated while my custom files are in the /templates directory. I was going to tell the client to purchase the PRO version, but I don’t feel comfortable with all these bugs.

yes you were right, for some reason category files were left on the code control where custom files where loaded.

We have solved it, ready for make an update on a few days.

About template editor, via drag & drop, it’s only for payed version

On lite version is possible to upload zipped template files comming from marketplace.
