Are you sure there are products / subcategories in the test category page you linked to?
Please help me with this because I can’t update Woocommerce.
What do you mean that you can’t update exactly?
And lastly, be sure to rule out conflicts from another plugin or your theme following this guide: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/#section-4

Now I deactivated all plugins (except Woocommerce), and set Storefront and the problem still exists.
Here you can see that there are products in the category: https://prnt.sc/ixe2ne
Hi @mintal,
Test page: https://gastrocenter.sk/test/kategoria-produktu/upratovanie-cistenie/ (here you can see that subcategories are not listed)
It might be that you need to resave the products?
What happens if you make a new Parent category and a new Subcategory, and then assign a product to both?
Here are my customizer settings:

When I have those settings saved, I can see all Categories and Subcategories when navigating the Shop in Storefront.

Hello!
I tried to resave the products, but still the same.
If I assign the test product to both, it is working fine. If I assign only to SUB, it doesn’t work. In 3.2.6 version it wasn’t problem.

I’ve made a printscreen of actual test site category structure: https://prnt.sc/jg3o30
You can see, that there’s a category with name “Doplnky” and there are 0 products in it but it is working: http://gastrocenter.sk/test/kategoria-produktu/gastro-doplnky/
