Category Specific Feed Issue

    Here is a fun issue I have been unable to resolve for the last 4 days. The main blog feed for our site works fine. The category feeds will load in a browser but will not load into a reader (ie. google). I first noticed this when our newest podcast did not update. We had been using Feedburner for the podcast feed, but have deleted that account do to this issue. The category feed also will not load into the sidebar rss widget.

    The good main feed: nerdcityonline.com/feed
    The bad category feed: nerdcityonline.com/category/podcast/feed

    The category feed does not validate as well.

    This problem is also holding back updates from itunes. I tried adding rss, rss2, rdf, and atom after /feed/ with various results. I was able to access the feed using “rss” in google reader and it was updated, but in a browser there are no posts (same in sidebar widget). “rdf” does the same thing. “rss2” loads in the browser updated, but will not load in the feeder or sidebar. “atom” doesn’t load at all in anything.

    Any help is REALLY appreciated.
