    Hello,
I have installed the plugin but am having a problem using
[mdocs cat=”Indigenous Resource”]to view my documents.

I can use [mdocs cat=”All Files”]

I am running php 7.0 (had to update)

I have tried deleting the category, creating new ones, everything. I got it to work for about 1 minute and now it does not.

Can you assist, I don’t know what is causing the issue.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

hmm that should work. Maybe try changing the name of the folder to one word like “Resources” and see if that works.

Hi I ended up getting it working but for category I had to place a # in shortcode

    mdocs cat=#”Indigenous Resource”

    Now all good. 🙂

that is very weird, glad you figured it out thou.

@bhaldie, I can confirm this – the shortcodes parameters dont seem to work unless you put a # before the =. ?? Thanks for that @minmoko!

UPDATE: sorry, I figured out that category shortcode takes the names of folders, not categories. However, the single-file parameter doesnt seem to work.

Are you using the name of the file not the filename?

@bhaldie, that was it – it needed the actual filename. Thanks!

Examples of each of the shortcodes available in the Details tab of the plugin page would help.

next version of mdocs will have shortcode buttons that should make it easier for users thanks for the report.
