Category Posts Widget Works On Interior Pages, But Not On Home Page

    Hi all,

    We are trying to figure out why the Category Posts Widget (titled “Community” in the left sidebar) is NOT displaying any entries on the home page, but displays fine when you click through to interior pages.

    We’ve tried disabling other plugins, removing the search function, trying two separate “category post” widgets to ensure that two aren’t clashing, but haven’t been able to find a result yet.

    Any ideas?

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Great, thanks for pointing this out. There was a problematic plugin called “Blog in Blog” that was clashing with the category posts widgets. Thanks for your help — very much appreciated!
