    Hi livemtl,

This is James Lao, the creator. You'd have to hack the plugin to enable that. And depending on where you're pulling the thumbnails from, that may or may not be a simple task. For instance, if the URL to the thumbnail image is store in a meta field, that could easily be done, but if the thumbnail has to be generated on the fly, that would be much more difficult.

Hi, first of all - AWESOME plug-in James, thank you for making it. I think this could really be one of the most useful plugins available for WordPress to a lot of people. Just wondering though if it would be possible to hack into it to allow me to add a thumbnail image (like an avatar) adjacent to the Category title w. link (which I would like to be bold) to represent the author of a regular column for my site? Any help on this from anyone would be greatly appreciate.

And also would be great to know if this (or for that matter any other widget) could be included directly into a post or page. That is something that I think is still lacking at least in the WordPress support forums. I'm sure it is possible to embed the contents of a widget or latest posts from a given category directly into a post or page by including the proper call to the right WP function, but that might be a tricky for those who are not at a certain programmer level I think.

Thanks to everyone who can help! : - ]

I'm glad you like the plugin. I will add some classes to the list elements and links in the next release so people can style it with CSS to their liking. I also plan to utilize the new shortcode API so you can embed the widget into a post; one person has already sent me code for this which I plan on adapting.

The plugin can definitely be hacked to allow for thumbnails, but I do not plan to make this a feature in the foreseeable future. And regrettably, I do not have the time to offer individual support for free.
