When I use the shortcode on the link you’ve provided I do not see the counts nor the empty categories.
In order to see the empty categories and counts I need to create a widget and use a widget insertion plugin.
I can’t share a link because the site is currently in coming soon mode
Please share the shortcode you are using.
I did share it… will paste my question below. Please let me know if there are additions needed. There are no parameters listed in the documentation. I read everything about all shortcodes.

When using this shortcode [business_categories]
is there a way to show the counts and also empty categories?
The widget had the option to do so.
So in order to get the category count to show, you need to add the ‘showcount’ parameter to this shortcode.
You can see exactly how to do this by going to Documentation and then clicking on ‘See All Business Directory Docs’ >> ‘Display List of Business Categories’
In the ‘Display List of Categories’ document, you will see exactly what you need to add in order to show the category count.
