seems to be correct; can I know what did you expected?

Under Events/Configuration, tab Pages, section Permalink slug, option Event Categories, I configured (i.e.) “events/c”.

I thought that would create category permalinks like “domain.com/events/c/term-name/”, but it doesn’t seem to work, those permalinks are still standard “domain.com/events/categories/term-name/”.

Am I correct? Is this the expected behaviour?

have you tried Events > Settings > Pages > Permalink Slugs ?

Yes, that’s exactly where I am. Sorry for not being precise, the site is in Spanish and I translated here “on the fly” without switching it to English 🙂

don’t if this helps since I haven’t tried it yet but maybe you can try to see this link – http://wordpress.org/support/topic/permalink-slugs-in-multiple-languages?replies=7

could it be you’re using caching plugins? If so, clear your page cache and see if the links change.

Otherwise, try resaving your permalink settings (although this should have happened when you saved your slugs in EM.
