I have several categories which have several posted articles, however whenever i visit my category pages it displays as no results!?

I just cannot find the solution. Ive tried the no category plugin which removes the wordpress default word ‘category’ in the url and since this change i no longer see the articles under my published categories.

i therefore disabled the plugin, however i get the same results. Its been 3 weeks now and still cannot figure out why i have this behavior at my blog.

The blog is at http://www.lonnieamirault.com and the categories are set with the slug name. If you visit http://www.lonnieamirault.com/advice/ – you will see the no results displayed, however i have 61 posted articles under this category.

A category menu has been created in the footer, however if you click any of the categories is all no results. Sigh…

    Can anyone help me?

    Hey lonniea,

Try deleting your .htaccess file (in the root folder of your WordPress instalation) and recreating your Permalinks. Go to “Settings > Permalinks” and click on “Save”.

If this doesn’t work, let us know.

If this topic is solved, please mark it as “Resolved” on your right sidebar.

    Hi,

Have you tried changing the theme? Try using the default Twenty Ten theme. If the problem resolves, it’s most likely the category.php file in you faulty theme. In this case, please post the code to said file over here and we’ll figure something out 😉

    Cheers.

nope – still no change. the twenty-ten theme displays the same. i hate to think that its a plugin doing this, but just so that you know i have played with disabling and enabling different plugins and has not solved the problem.

Perhaps if you were so kind to contact me via my blog and i’ll send you an admin pass to have a look see?
