 * Hell,
 * I would like to organize my categories a bit and I was wondering if I have been
   making a rather large mistake through the life time of my blogs…
 * When creating a post is it wise to just select one category or a few?
 * Thanks

 * From an SEO point of view there are differing opinions as to whether more than
   one category on a post will ‘hurt’ Google rankings.
 * From a user’s perspective, if your blog content makes sense to have two (or more)
   categories, then that’s what you should do.
 * Not that you asked, but if using parent/child category hierarchy, by WordPress
   standards, ANY category that has been designated a Parent category is not meant
   to be checked in the category hierarchy when writing posts. Meaning, only the
   latest generation category should be checked. Think of it like this, only the
   youngest generation gets the action.
