# Category Order

 * Hi there,
 * I’m facing a little problem with the main menu. the categories are displayed 
   in alphabetical order, but I’d rather prefer them displayed on my own customized
   order or following the term_id (at least).
 * How to do it? I think editing some php file such as header or theme functions,
   but I’m not a developer.
 * Can anyone help me?

 * You can make this happen with ease, and with the help of the [Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order](http://wordpress.org/plugins/taxonomy-terms-order/)
   plugin.
    Don’t worry that it would increate your site load, it’s extremely light-
   weight.

   for your category.
