 * I’ve seen other wp journals/blogs with the amount of posts in a certain category
   listed in brackets beside the category name..
    ex: site updates (3) Am I just
   missing something very obvious or is it some code you have to put somewhere or
   a hack to add? TY

 * thanks codergurl… I went looking through the hacks and couldn’t find anything
   for category numbers. …with this code do you need to as something to wp-layout.
   css too? …I ask cuz I’ve noticed that most things you put in the index.php page
   have a counter part in that .css file too
