  • Simplest option may be to set the ‘list’ parameter to false. Another one is, typically list_cats() is placed in an ul (HTML) element, to keep the list tags valid. Give this ul an unique id (let’s call it “list-cats”). For example:

    <ul id="list-cats">
    <?php list_cats(); ?>
    </ul>

    Then in your style.css, add something like:

    #list-cats li {
    list-style-type: none;
    display: inline;
    }

    thank you very very much!
