    Is it better to have multiple categories and allow authors to select combinations:

    Motorcycle
    Car
    Tires

    Or is it better to have all the different category combinations spelled out, and have authors select only one when posting:

    Motorcycle Tires
    Car Tires

    I’m making a multi-author site and wanted to know if anyone knows specific advantages/disadvantages. Is there a recommended approach to this?
