    This plugin is listed as compatible, but when I activate it, I get the following code showing at the top of my site –

    WordPress database error: [Table ‘M8493_scbcs.scbcsmain_categories’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT cat_ID, cat_name, category_count, category_nicename, category_description, category_parent FROM scbcsmain_categories WHERE cat_ID > 0 AND category_count > 0 AND category_parent = 0 ORDER BY cat_name asc

    Can anyone tell me how to fix this? When I check my database it seems that I don’t have a table for categories – I’ve reinstalled several times and this keeps occuring…help!

    Hi..I’m also noticing the error that my categories table doesn’t exist with other plug ins. Can anyone tell me how to get that table added? Is there some way to do this? I’ve already redownloaded and installed 2.3 several times…I’m desperate. Help!

    but if some plugins that call the categories table directly don’t work in 2.3 – then why is the plugin I mentioned above on the list for compatible plugins for 2.3?

    Could someone with more knowledge than me check it and see if it’s just me or it’s the plugin?
