To show links per category, you would use the [link-library] short code. To show list of categories, use [link-library-cats].
To display long description, go to Advanced Settings under Library Settings section and check the box next to the link Large Description row title.
Thanks for your quick response!! I have been able to show the link description but with ‘per category listings’ issue ..how to mak this listing but with the categoeies separated in different pages.
When adding a category there’s a field asking for it’s ‘Category lnk’, I am looking for a link like as when you can list al posts in a single category in the blog area.

The category link is something different. Are you looking just to create different pages with a category’s link per page, linking to each page from the site menu? Or do you want a page with a list of all categories, linking to each page?
I’m trying to do the fist option:

You can use the Link Library shortcode on multiple pages, with the categorylistoverride option to specify which categories will show for each instance. You can read more about it here:
