Category Links Don’t Go To Category’s Content

    hi. i have zero clue how long this has been an issue. i don’t remember the last time i ever clicked a category link on my own site (which is about 20 years old). but…i randomly clicked one and realized none of them went to their category’s specific content…just the main page content.

    i searched the forums the best i could first, but did not see anyone else with this issue.

    I see what you mean. It looks like all the categories show the latest posts.
    You are using the Twenty Sixteen theme, so it seems that you might have a plugin that is affecting the query.
    You can install the Health Check plugin and use Troubleshoot mode to disable all plugins for your user only, to see if the problem remains.
    You can also go to the admin Posts page and use the category filter above the list to make sure what posts are listed for each. (Plugins could still affect this, but it’s less likely.)

    i had a plugin i forgot to reactivate that caused the issue. i didn’t even see it. health check reminded me. thanks!
