Category Links?

Hi. Great plugin – thanks. I’ve been customising it a little bit to my requirements.

The official plugin website says: “this enables you to add each portfolio category as a separate menu item if desired.” How do I do this? Obviously the category filter currently links to “http://www.site.com/portfolio/#category”, and when I try creating a custom menu link to “http://www.site.com/portfolio/category” I get a 404 error. is there a way of manually linking to each category?
