Category Link to Agenda View instead of Month view

On individual calendar events, we have the category for the event listed. We would like this category to link to an “agenda view” instead of the “month view.” There are not enough events for some categories for the month view to make sense. Is there a way to filter the categories into the agenda view after clicking the category link?

If not, how can we hide the category from individual event posts?

Ex. http://gabaptist.org/event/go-georgia-2016/ and click on “premiere events.” This takes the user to a month view. We want this to be agenda view OR remove the category from the post.
