# Category Issue

* Hey,
The plugin is great. Thank you by the way. I’ve issue with just categories.
I have a XML but that’s not export from a website which is NOT woocommerce based.
And that products has just one category but that category has also parent categories.
Eg: A Book’s category is Android and i want to arrange that book like this Technology
> Operating Systems > Android. And i want to display this book’s category just“
Android” in frontend but on the backend category hierachy must be Technology
-Operating Systems
–Android
* I could not make that hierarchy.
How can i make this, could you please explain?

* If the category element in your file contains “Technology > Operating Systems
> Android”, then you can import it using the “An element in my file contains
the entire hierarchy” option: [http://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/taxonomies/nested/](http://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/taxonomies/nested/).
And, if you only want to assign it to “Android”, you can use the “Only assign
Products to the bottom level term in the hierarchy” option: [https://d.pr/X14pN7](https://d.pr/X14pN7).

Sorry for late cause i just realized your email. Actually problem
is my xml file structure. Category scheme is a bit weird, example: some products
has Parent Category 1 > Sub Category 1 > Category 1 AND ALSO Parent Category
2 > Sub Category 2> Category 2 And the structure of categories in that XML is
very struggle. Couldnt i resolve that If you can help me i ll be glad that Thnx

* Is there a delimiter for the separate structures? something like this:
* `Parent Cat 1 > Sub Cat 1 > Sub Cat 2 | Parent Cat 2 > Sub Cat 2 > Cat 2`
* If so, you could use the “Separate hierarchy groups via symbol” setting: [https://d.pr/doA0aZ](https://d.pr/doA0aZ).

Im using XML file and there is no any delimiter. They was created
category structure a bit complex. If you want i can send you a copy of xml
