Category folder is not being created on my Host!

    I created my categories, and when I view my blog and click on the category, it gives me the ‘virtual link error’

    I see the link is:
    myhost.com/blog/category/news

    I checked my host through the FTP window and there is no folder
    that was created called category…

    what’s the deal?

    WordPress does not actually create folders corresponding to the slashes you see in the URL. However, the category link should go to a page containing a list of all posts in that category. Do your other permalinks work?
