Hi as discussed in other thread (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/suggestion-filter-for-categories/) we have more products we want to add to the feed.
I applied “out of stock” filter (according to https://adtribes.io/how-to-create-filters-for-your-product-feed/ article) to exclude some of them – Successfully.
However using Category, Category path, Category link and ‘is equal to’ CONDITION I’m not able to restrict to some products from certain category to appear in the feed.
During the setting filter procedure [button Add Filter / selecting certain Category under IF column, selecting ‘is equal to’ under CONDITION column – the categories names we use pop up in the combo box to select one from them, including subcategories.

It behaves the same way in ‘Facebook dynamic ads feed’ as well as in ‘Google Dynamic Remarketing’ channel.

Subquestion, what does mean column/checkbox CS in ‘Feed filters and rules’ screen, please?

    Thanks in advance
    Michal

    Hi Michal,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. I am not sure I understand your first question. Can you send us a screenshot of the filter(s) you created so we better understand what it is you are trying to accomplish?

    CS = case sensitive.

    All the best

    Hi Eva,

    sure thing,
This (https://prnt.sc/n57bef) is the result and this (https://prnt.sc/n57d9i) is the process. (I’ve also tried ‘contains’ instead of ‘is equal to’ with no luck.)

So products from ‘fotografie’ Category still persist in the feed (https://vydavatelstvorak.sk/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/xml/a83219644ab79b07f673ec8ee6b1642a.xml),
like <item> <g:id>5174 for example. (The katl and katn tags are my custom mapping fiels for easier identification ‘Category link’ and ‘Category (not used for mapping)’)

Today I’ve found a workaround which does not work for 100%. I made a filter to exclude products where Category link contains ‘otografi’ or where Category path contains ‘otografi’

    Thanks in Advance.

Maybe this picture (https://ctrlv.cz/kamc) would be better to show the process than the previous one.

    Hi mik013,

Could it be that product 5174 is not just in Fotografie category but also in another main or subcategory? If so, than it would make sense that the product is still in the feed as you did not exclude the other categories the product is in.

    That’s right.
Product 5174 has two categories ‘Sto miliĆ³nov rokov’ which is a subcategory to Fotografie
but as you can see on the picture (the link I sent previously – https://prnt.sc/n57bef) both of these categories were excluded.
