# Category dropdown select

 * In regards to sort selection — Is there perhaps a way to sort by category? My
   client just handed me some updates whereby now there are a dozen or so categories
   for the products (and a product can be in multiple categories). My initial thought
   is to create a product page with the loop add-on for each category and then have
   a dropdown menu. But then it would be handy to have 1 product page with all categories
   but give the user the possibility of just displaying certain categories with 
   the dropdown select. Thoughts?

 * sorting by category is not easy, considering that a product can indeed have multiple
   categories.
 * I can look into adding a category select dropdown though.

 * If only there was a store shortcode with category or categories option. Then 
   it would be easy to drop each shortcode into an accordion or tab and you’ve got
   an instant organizer without having the page reload each time.
