• I would like subcategories displayed when you click on a category. And it doesn’t seem to work on al category levels.

In Woocommerce->settings, Shop Page Display is set to ‘Show Subcategories’ and Default Category Display is also set to ‘Show Subcategories’

The category structure of my website is as follows:

    Shop
    – Level 1
    — Level 2
    — Level 3
    – Level 1
    — Level 2
    — Level 3

Now when you click on level 2, all subcategories of level 3 are being displayed. This all works as it should. But when you click on level 1, it shows all products that are in level 2 and 3 and not the subcategories of level 2. I need it to show all the level 2 categories when you click on level 1.

I tried different configurations by setting the display type on category level as well. I tried disabling all plugins and I tried using the 2013 theme. I also tried it on a fresh new WordPress/Woocommerce install. None of these options worked for me.

Is there a way to go about this, or is this just the way Woocommerce works?

Any help would be much appreciated!
