    Hi there,

    I’ve checked the forum for answers but haven’t been able to find anything that answers my questions.

    Firstly, I’d like to know if you can customise how many posts are shown for individual categories? For example, 10 posts shown for “Cats” category but only 5 posts shown for “Dogs” category.

    I found this:
    To show more than 10 posts, please go to Settings->Reading->Blog pages show at most option and increase the number of posts as you desired.

    But this changes all categories to show a certain number of posts not individual ones.

    Secondly, I’d like to know how to change the category page so it shows posts and the next button instead of just “previously”?

    Thank you for reaching us.

    Actually, the feature you have requested to show number of post in individual one is not available.

    Also, we reviewed the free plugin and discovered that the List category posts plugin seems to meet your requirements; if it does not, we recommend you check the plugin at https://wordpress.org/plugins.

    Dear Manjil,

    Thank you for your quick response.

    Is there anyway without a plugin to change how the categories are displayed? E.g. it shows the oldest post first instead and you have to press next to get to the latest?

    Currently it shows the latest posts and you have to press “Previous” to see older posts but I’d rather the user have to press “Next” to see the previous posts and “Previous” to go back to what they were just viewing. Is this possible?

    Hello @mg1995,

    Actually, the feature you have requested is not available in theme so without using plugin you cannot get option so you need to use third-party plugin to use this feature.
