    Andy,

For the life of me I cannot seem to figure out how to get category colors to work for week and list view. I’ve managed to add the legend to each view but everything remains the default color. Any thoughts? Is this even possible?

    My website is capitolgrapevine.com

    Thanks!

I have the branch switching checkbox checked. The only options I see under Category Colors are deactivate and edit.

The destination folder error came up when I tried to use the “install plugin” feature on the GitHub Updater settings page. I put in the url for the Category Colors plugin under “Plugin URL” and left the rest of the fields blank.

In that case the error makes sense, it’s already installed.

Do you see Category Colors listed under the _GitHub_ subtab in the Settings?

All I see under the GitHub tab is an area to enter the personal access token.

I don’t see anything under installed themes and plugins.

Can you delete the Category Colors plugin and reinstall from the Instsll tab?

Do you not see the GitHub Updater plugin listed in the GitHub subtab?

Can you list the contents of wp-contents/plugins/?

I just reinstalled Category Colors through the GitHub Updater. I’m still not seeing any plugins listed under the GitHub subtab.

These are the contents of the wp-contents/plugins/ directory:

    events-calendar-pro
    fusion-builder
    fusion-core
    github-updater-6.2.2
    google-analytics-for-wordpress
    mailchimp-for-wp
    rss-enhancements-for-the-events-calendar
    the-events-calendar
    the-events-calendar-category-colors
    the-events-calendar-community-events
    wp-to-twitter

Can you rename github-updater-6.2.2 to github-Updater. I’m referring to the directory in the plugins folder.

Just reinstalled both and made those changes. I’m not seeing any difference on my end.

Autocorrect, sorry, needs to be github-updater. All lowercase.

Still not seeing any changes. Nothing pops up under the GitHub subtab nor do I have any branch switching options on the plugin page.

Let’s start over. Delete the GitHub Updater plugin. Install the develop branch of ge category colors plugin.

You will have to deactivate the current category colors plugin.

    Did the steps above:

Week view looks good, although there is no event transparency (assuming that’s something you’d patched.)

List view is still being overridden by some other CSS. All of the events have the same color heading, which I believe is tied to the WordPress customizer “Calendar Highlight Color” setting.

Progress. I didn’t fix the transparency yet. Keep your site and changes up and I’ll be able to get to the other fixes soon.

    Thanks for your patience.

Great – really appreciate all of the support you’ve provided.

The week view fix was to not have a transparent event if the background color was transparent. It was to set the background to white. You would only see this for a transparent background. Unless you can show an example of this?
