  • Hey Guys,
    i am running the latest 3.4 Version of WordPress. I shifted my blog from Blogger and changed the permalink structure of the posts. But for every category page it shows me a 303 error. What am I doing wrong here. I tried everything to see if I redirect old blogger tags (that evetually import as category but no help)…please help

  • Rahul, please understand that, WordPress has very little to do with 303 in your case.

    303 shows due to incorrect way to redirect to any URI.

    It might be Google bot who do not want to index. Usually Google never displays them on search result (sitelinks is an exception).

    However, add in your hxxp:// (replace x with t), make sure to add line a break before disallowing. Also check your SEO plugins settings, Theme SEO (if has some) etc.

    .htaccess plays a big role as you are probably chopping out the old .html part from your blogger pages. There is something wrong in redirection code that our browsers can handle but a bot can not.

    The link works fine for me. I do not get any 303 errors.
