# Categorising problem

 * I started with WP today. I have a basic need, to put a simple categories on the
   page. item 1, 2 ,3 ,4 etc…
 * But I don’t understand “slug” part of the story?
 * And, after I add categorie, and go view my page, it doesnt show…
 * Helps 🙁
