• I have been typing in the cat’s I want to exclude. Then click save. When I go back to settings for some reason my category “Site Bites Q & A” does not get excluded. I have tried several times. Even tried enter in cat’s ID # and the cat’s tag.

Any ideas how to fix this or work around?

    thanks

Does the Site Bites Q & A automatically show up when you type it in the box?

Does it work for other categories? Can you try to rename the Q & A to QA temporarily and try.

yes. It does pop up and auto complete. Hit enter, Word “site bite Q & A” is entered on the line and auto adds comma. Then click save. After page auto refreshes the word “site bite Q & A” disappears.

Can you try renaming the category to not have the “&” and try again. I’m wondering if it is because of the & which is causing the issue for some reason

    ya it was the “&”.

Thanks. I think it is the santization when the form is saved which is weird as it is inbuilt WP functions.

Are you in a position to do a bit of debugging? If so, can you delete sanitize_text_field from this file? You can find it in wp-content/plugins/contextual-related-posts/admin/admin.php
