• Can anyone help me at all please
I am a wordpress newbie, using the renden theme, I have managed to work out most things, but I am stuck with the categories that my blog posts are assigned to. showing in the header box, and also just above the header box. Does anyone know why this is, have I done something silly?? or is this a glitch
They do not show up on any other pages nor do they come up on the blog feed home page, only each individual post page, as well as above the post title where they are supposed to show up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, tearing my hair out πŸ™
    many thanks

    Hi MMastersFWL,

This sounds like a glitch which may need a theme update to fix. Can you add a link to the exact page where you’re experiencing the issue so we can see what’s happening?

    Thanks!

    Hi There
    Thanks for your response
It is only happening on all blog posts, no other pages

    Thanks MMastersFWL,

To fix this a theme update is required. We’ve now released an update to fix this error. Once the review is complete you can then update to the latest version and everything should then be working fine.

Thanks for highlighting this issue! πŸ™‚

    Hi There
Ok that’s great thanks, so I wasn’t being completely useless and thick at not being able to work out how to fix it! At least that makes me feel better πŸ™‚

How will I know when the review is complete?
and how do I update to the latest version? Sorry, but I have literally only just started using wordpress in the last couple of days, is it just a case of installing the theme again?
Will I have to redo all my layouts etc?

Many thanks once again for your help πŸ™‚

    Hi MMastersFWL,

Just wanted to let you know that the latest version of Renden is available to download. Please update and you should find that the issues you’re experiencing will now be resolved.

To update you should see a notification in your dashboard. Alternatively in your dashboard head over to Themes and there will be an update notice for Renden. Follow the instructions and the theme will automatically update. All of your work will remain in place, and infact you may not even notice that the update has been applied.

However, please do check your site to see if the issue is still there.

Best of luck! Let us know how you get on. πŸ™‚

No worries, glad I could help!

If you get a chance we’d absolutely love for you to leave a review for Renden. Don’t worry if you don’t get a chance, we know how busy it can get when building a new site. πŸ™‚

If you have anymore questions let us know!

    Hi there
    Me again πŸ™‚

I would love to leave a review for Renden, but I have had a quick look and I’m not sure where I go to do this? Can you point me in the right direction?

Also, could I ask, I want to set up a membership site with this website is there any particular plugin that is going to work better with the Renden theme than another, it’s all quite mind blowing the choices there are, especially for a non-techie!

So I thought I would check with you as to any limitations I might come up against using any particular one over another, the front runners all seem fairly similar, although a few variations in cost.

Many thanks again for your help, much appreciated

With regards to the membership support query, please can you post a new support ticket. This ticket has already been marked as resolved. WordPress forum rules mean that when a new issue is submitted it’s best to do this in a new ticket.

    Thanks!

    Hello again
I hope I’m ok to do this the way I have, I have unresolved this thread as I have the same problem come up again.

All my blog and main pages are fine, I have now uploaded paid memberships pro plugin to my site to be able to set up membership subscriptions. In case it’s relevant, When I configured the plugin, I requested that it automatically set up all the necessary pages for me.

Now it seems these pages only have the same issue I had before where the category label is showing up in the centre of the header and to the top left of the header also.

Can I fix this or do you need to do it? if it can be fixed? πŸ™

Here is a link to one of the pages it is showing up on

    http://foundationsweightloss.com/membership-account/membership-levels/

I am also looking to upgrade to Renden Pro, is it ok to ask in this same msg, will that cause me any problems now I have added all the membership plugin

    Many thanks for your help
    Greatly appreciated.

    Michelle

    Hi,

    I have the same problem:
the categories that my blog posts are assigned to are showing in the header box, and also just above the header box. This happens in static pages.
I am experimenting localy before going live, so I cannot include a link.
    I am using AMPPS.
The problem shows only in subpages.
I have downloaded the theme just recently, so I guess it is the latest revision.
When I am editing the subpages and puting no parent, the problem dissappears, but before I make all pages parent, I would like to know if there is another way to fix the problem.

Thank you in advance for any hint.
