# Categories Page

 * I’m trying to make a categories page that is actually useful for viewers.
    I’d
   like the page to reflect parent categories with subcategories directly beneath
   its parent. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks as always folks!

 * You can do this by combining the [categories_list] shortcode with the same arguments
   that can be used for the standard get_terms WordPress function, to decide which
   categories and subcategories get displayed:

    but at least i know where to go look when i decide
