I’m using the Matala theme for my blog and want to be able to put post categories along the top where it has “home” “about me”, etc., but I can’t figure out how. It seems like the theme only lets me put static pages up there.
I’m able to add post categories to the sidebar widget area, however I can’t add them to the top menu bar. Can this be done? If so, how?
I thought I was creating a custom menu but I was leaving the “Theme Location” blank. So to fix it, I set theme location to “Blog” and then added my categories to the “blog” tab on the right side of the screen. Then I saved it and… voila!!! Custom headers! It was just that simple.
