Categories on front page

    A big thank you for this wonderful theme first!

    I would like to add categories to the front page so that you can click on them and see the posts in that category.

    Is this possible?

    Hi @reiffer,

    Glad you like it!

    It’s possible, but you’d have to create a child theme and add output (and styling) of the categories there (the index.php file would probably work best). There’s no functionality for it in Hitchcock itself. An easier alternative would be to add the categories to your main menu.

    Hi Anders,

    Thanks a lot for your reply. Creating a child theme is way over my head. I’ve already added the categories to the menu. This will have to suffice then.
