@omarce – Check your PHP error logs after this occurs, and also check for JavaScript errors on the page when it happens. You will find one of them shows issues that need resolved. Could be another plugin/theme causing an error when the search request is made (as you type).

I desactivated all other extension, same results.
Did not find any errors in Javascript
The only message I found in the log is related to sql injection detection

It looks that the problem comes from Sql Injection detection from Apache modsecurity :
