Support » Plugin: WP Job Manager » Categories & Job Types Display Nothing

  • Hi Mike,

First of all I want to say thanks for developing a cool plugin. It is by far the best jobs board plugin available on WP.

Secondly I am hoping you can help me with a few questions. My first one is when you select a job and you are in the single job listing, at the bottom of the listing there are the job types and categories links.

I thought by clicking on one of the links that it would take you to a list of other job listing posts in the same job type or category but it just leads to a category or job type page displaying nothing.

Please can you help me understand whether I am missing something here or this is an issue that should be addressed?

    Cheers!

  • Apologies as I did not include this in the original post but if it helps here is the link to my jobs board on my site – http://www.acehirerecruitment.co.uk/jobs/

    Cheers!

Those links are output by your theme. By default, taxonomy archives are disabled in Job Manager because they cannot be themed by a plugin alone.

You can remove them from your theme by duplicating single.php to single-job_listing.php and then editing the new file and finding/removing the code it uses to list the terms.
