    I have Postie version 1.5.14

I cannot get categories to worlk properly in the subject line.

    I try as Subject:
[MyCategoryName] Sell -2 DJ at close today 06/19/2013 Final position Short 1

It recognizes MyCategoryName as a category: fine.
It recognizes the number 2 as a category: not fine.

Predecoded subject: [Free e-mail subscription] test Sell -2 DJ at close today 06/19/2013 Final position -1
Subject: [Free e-mail subscription] test Sell -2 DJ at close today 06/19/2013 Final position -1

    lookup_category: Free e-mail subscription
category: found by name Free e-mail subscription
lookup_category: 2 DJ at close today 06/19/2013 Final position
category: found by id 2 DJ at close today 06/19/2013 Final position

It would be great if the Category feature could work as it should, that is: categories should be put at the beginning of the subject line, and any further brackets or – should be ignored after the first no-category item.

    Thanks.

I appreciate your frustration, however, some people put their categories at the end of the subject so I can’t change it as described.

Rather I am planning on a setting for turning on/off the various flavors of category delimiters so you can just turn off the -#- category lookup.

I see a bug here as well that I will fix shortly.
