categories for custom post type not available

    I have my default post type for new posts set to a custom post type that we have set up, but the categories drop down for default category does not list any categories for the custom post type. Is there any way to set a default custom post type category when the default post type is a custom post type?

    Also, it looks like it does not show my posts in the dashboard when I use a custom post type.

    Not sure if I will get a response on this, but it seems that the plugin supports custom post types, but not custom post categories?

    Hello @dkirmis,

    Categories for custom post type will now show inside the default post category field. Also, to show the posts for a custom post type on the frontend dashboard you can use the following shortcode.

    [wpuf_dashboard post_type=”your_post_type”]

    I am not seeing the custom post type categories in the default post category field. Is there a new version?

    Is there a way to show all of the posts in the category in the dashboard list, and not just the ones owned by the user? (ie: editors can edit any posts).

    Hello @dkirmis,

    We have already notified about related custom post type categories in the default post category field issue. Our development team is working to fix it. I hope the fix will include in the next update of this plugin.
