    Hi,
My web project has many languages.
I would like to be able to create a new offer in a single language and make it visible in all languages without translate it. I have been able to achieve this but I have seen that the category selector disappears when I change the language in front-end.

Is there a way to synchronize the different taxonomies of categories when changing languages without the need to translate it?

    Thanks!

I see that you’re using WPML. I’m not sure exactly what you’re trying to achieve, but you might be better off asking the WPML folks first. Let me know what they say!

    Hi,
I asked for this issue tu WPML support, and this is what they said:

    Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue.

It will be possible to show a non translated Post or taxonomies assigned it to secondary language by choosing *Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language* option as the translation preference for the Post Types and Taxonomies. Please check the following documentation for more details and let me know your feedback.

    https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/

To help you faster, I’ve enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

    Thanks!

The WPML config is just as he (Bigul) said, but the problem persist.
I need to create a new offer in french, asign it a job category in french, and the offer and category must to be visible when users change the language.

The problem now is that category selector disappear when users change the language.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

Unfortunately, this really seems like a WPML problem so I don’t know what else I can do to assist.
