Categories as menu links?

I’ve googled for answers and I find the codex more than my wee non-developer brain can cope with at times.

I can cut and paste php code when given an idiots guide but have no idea how to do stuff for myself.

How do you make categories a link in the menu, like pages are?

I’m sure its very simple but I just dont know.
