Categories are showing all posts

Hi there,

I wonder if anyone can help. I’ve been on the Studiopress forums for 5 days and the person helping me doesnt seem to understand whats happening.

If I choose a category from the archive page or categories widget rather than just displaying posts from the category it shows that latest posts from all categories.

I’m assuming it some kind of issue with the category template but I’ve replaced it with a clean copy and it’s fine.

Any ideas always appreciated.
