all the categories are gone. dunno when, but I upgraded to the latest 3.5. and after some days upgraded facebook pluging.

If there are no categories under Posts -> Categories then you will need to put them all back in and manually assign each post.

Why they are gone, no clue.

could this be the reason I cannot write to tmp dir my sql queries from PhpMyAdmin ?

No. Sounds like you have a lot bigger problem.

Did you read through http://www.wordpress.org/support/topic/troubleshooting-wordpress-35-master-list yet?

yeah, the problem was no space for temporary files.. After y admin cleared a bit of free space so now cat’s are up once again..
