Categories and tags as Pages in Horizontal Menu

  • Hello! I am currently developing this website http://www.awitpilipinas.com
It is a website for Filipino songs translated into english. I am gradually adding songs and this is how my navigation works.

Page hierarchy (each letter, song, artist have its own page):

    Songs
    -A,B,C,D,E…..Z
–Song title list by letter selected
—Song and lyrics selected from list

    Artists
    -A,B,C,D,E…..Z
–Artist Name list by letter selected
—Artist selected from artist name list
—-Song and lyrics from artist selected

As my song collection grows, it will be too manual to build it this way.
I was wondering if I could achieve in posts, this as making the “Artists” as a categories and “Songs” as tags. And put it up in the horizontal menu like in the manner i stated above.

I tried this but it does looks like blog instead of a page where visitors can choose the song or artist they want to select.

Please feel free to view my website: http://www.awitpilipinas.com

I am still new at wordpress. 🙂

    Thanks so much!

  • Also, I am not that advanced yet to edit wordpress codes. 🙁 i have seen similar questions to mine and are solved with codes. I used a software to make my wp template and so the back-end html, css and php were automatically made by the software. Thanks for understanding. 🙂
