Categories and tags

    I cannot add categories. I tells me that I don’t have permission. I have looked on your forum and see other people have had the same problem. I am on a Mac using Firefox.

    try adding this to your .htaccess

    <IfModule mod_security.c>
SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off
</IfModule>

    OK. I am not very clued up on code. I could not find a .htaccess file? Is this in my config file or where do I find it and where exactly in the code do I add this. Anywhere?

    OK. I did some reading and managed to create a .htaccess file? I did not have one. Then I added the code above to it. I logged out and then back in and tried to add a category and get the following error, same for tags by the way?

    Could not insert term into the database

    Not sure if this is a permissions thing. Please help me as this is very frustrating and have come against this before and could just not solve the issue.
