# Categories

 * Hello I know that this has been asked several times and i have looked but I either
   do not understand or there is something wrong with the install.
 * Here is my issue, I have the blog up and running but I want to add categories,
   and I do all the info, and it shows up in the right side of the screen where 
   it lists the 1 category is, but after I go and look at the board there are no
   categories there except the first one, or default one. What am I doing wrong 
   please help me.

 * Write a new post and add it to that category. Does the category become visible?

 * I’m having the same problem. I added categories and entered posts to go with 
   them but they are not showing up. The default is showing up but none of the others.
 * I’ve been trying to work this out myself for hours now.

 * Thanks BTW Yes now how did that work out, do I have to put something in each 
   category to get this to work ?

 * well I had to go to work, now I am going to play with it a bit here at work (
   upps did I say that) and I will let you know.
